Rekenweb gaat zich steeds meer richten op de toepassingen die je kan spelen op de tablets. Op hun portaalsite wordt voor tablets een onderscheid gemaakt tussen de toepassingen en apps: die online kunnen gebruikt worden voor iOS en Android die te downloaden zijn in iTunes voor iOS  Net zoals de flash & java-spelletjes staat er telkens een beschrijving bij van het spel en de doelgroep. Je kan de uitgebreide keuzemogelijkheden gebruiken om te zoeken naar een geschikte toepassing en/of app voor je les:

Er is een Google Applicaties zoekfunctie .  Met Google kan je ook naar Apps zoeken. Je ziet deze optie nu naast web, afbeeldingen en maps staan.  Zoek je bijvoorbeeld op Comics, dan krijg je een lijst met alleen Apps als zoekresultaat.
